Martynas Auž
BIOGRAPHY
Martynas Auz is a contemporary renderism artist whose practice bridges street art, digital graphics, and painting. His creative path began with graffiti and later expanded into digital art, two worlds that now merge seamlessly in his work.
At the core of Martynas Auz’s practice are paintings and murals works characterized by smooth, sculptural forms, abstract compositions, and stylized characters. Using VR as a modeling tool, he shapes his compositions in virtual space before translating them by hand onto canvas or walls with acrylics, oils, and spray paint. Rounded surfaces and polished textures create a playful, ironic visual language, allowing sharper themes to be approached with subtlety and wit.
During his creative career, he created hundreds of artworks in public spaces in Lithuania and internationally. He has participated in major cultural programs such as Kaunas – European Capital of Culture 2022 and Tartu – European Capital of Culture 2024, and his mural projects have received international nominations and recognition. A finalist of the Young Painter Prize’24, Martynas Auz has presented his work in solo and group exhibitions in Lithuania, the UK, and the UAE.
