Amélie Ducommun

BIOGRAPHY

Amélie Ducommun is a contemporary French-Swiss artist whose work explores memory, time, and the emotional resonance of water. For over 15 years, she has created “memory cards” of landscapes she has encountered, capturing the fleeting essence of places and moments. Her paintings and installations reflect a poetic vision of the world, seeking harmony between movement and stillness, nature and perception. Inspired by light, space, and the impermanence of memory, her work invites viewers to reconnect with the depth and subtlety of their own experiences.
